Just want to add a few quick thoughts on the Freehold show. I mentioned to Michael after the show how very personal Ever After was, so much so that it was difficult to listen to in that regard. I didn't get a long comment from him after that, other than he said that it was easier to sing than talk about. I of course let it go with that, but the feeling of loss is so strong in that song that I hope it helped him to purge some of the grief he must have felt. The other thing that just floored me was how damn cool both Michael and Heather were. I knew the show would be great (just not THAT great !), but I was really touched by their warmth. Steven Van Zant wrote, in his liner notes for a Dion CD, that he avoids meeting people he's a fan of, so he won't be disappointed if the artist turns out to be a less than expected. He needs to meet Michael and Heather . Thanks everyone for the comments. A pleasure to make your acquaintance .

I hadn't posted my thoughts on the shows but I do have to say that one couple that talked thru the show at the Tin were incredibly rude. I didn't hear them much during the actual show (though my friend did and was annoyed). However after the show when Heather announced that her boyfriend was gonna do another song and they did that song out in the middle of the room I noticed the annoying couple. I even tapped the girl on the shoulder and asked them to stop talking. They looked at me and then continued their stupid very loud conversation. How incredibly rude. A friend of mine taped the song however she said that the talking ruined it. I mean michael and heather sang with no amplification and these folks talked louder than M&H singing. If that had of been from the beginning of the show that they were distracting us like that - I would have asked the door guy to shut them up or throw them out. I don't know if it was the same folks that talked thru the last whole Tin Angel show but if it was - I hope they never come again. Michael does not need fans that piss off the real fans!!
M&H were awesome both nights - I think Tin Angel for me was a bit better. Maybe cause it was the first show I seen in a while. but I really liked it A LOT!!! Freehold was great though. Saw him last year also n Freehold and knew I could not miss the intimacy of the freehold show.
Thanks for coming east M&H!!

I do want to add that there were several spots within the Tin Angel show where I got emotional - the one for his mother, the one for Eric Lowen and some other one. I don't think I've ever had that many tears during a show. Moved me, big time.

Donna, from where I was sitting at the Angel I didn't hear the talking going on, but Michael and Heather certainly did based on what they said prior to the Freehold show. I will never understand why someone would pay good money for a ticket then spend the whole show holding a conversation but I've seen it (heard it anyway) so many times it's ridiculous.
